After changing the BF Policy in last age, we are continuing with it. You can contact BF Mods if you are uncertain on some aspects.
Index:
Concept :
We are considering a revolutionary idea for BF Policy. Basically - virtually no policy - except that add one condition : "If opponent alliance's BF policy is stricter, we will strictly enforce that when dealing with those members". So when other alliances gives us shit, we can enforce same policy on them.
LoP BF Policy:
~ Battlefield Policy ~
General Guidelines :
Sending PMs
Note that sending a message is sign of decency, and everyone, in every case, is requested to send a decent polite message to the offender. Many conflicts get solved because of good communication skills.
Especially a PM is MUST before sabbing someone and so on.

Low hits:
There's nothing called as low hits. All hits are fair hits.
If your alliance member sabs our alliance member over a low hit, and we find the sab unnecessary or too harsh, we will sab the sabber for 3x amount he sabbed.
If our member tries to take advantage of this by purposefully going out of the way to provoke a sab, we will not back the member up, however, if our member is making a genuine hit and gets sabbed for that, we will take the above mentioned action. BF Mods retain the right to take this decision.
Defended hits:
If you get a defended hit, it's alright you lost turns and lost men and got repairs. That's punishment enough. Hit again? Once may be, but don't mass![]()
In case our member gets sabbed unjust, same 3x-sab-back rule applies.
Online hits:
There are no longer any online indicators. Hence, an online attack is no longer considered an offense. Spend faster next time!
Multiple hits:
KoC Allows 10 hits per day, so we will allow the same. If you want to keep the gold, bank better. (Ofcourse a mass is not allowed. If gold is there fine, but massing is war act. Human intelligence would be used to determine whether it is mass or not.)
(This means 70 hits per week allowed, since a week has 7 days)
Raids
Raids are usually not broadly appreciated, so, they are discouraged. Though sometimes new players use raids. Unless it's multiple raids, BF Mod should analyse the situation, source of conflict, and reach to a fair compensation or conclusion.
Multiple raids, are ofcourse treated as hostile action, and thence, will face approval.
Selloff Interception:
Farming rules do not apply during a selloff interception. A person is allowed to hit you as much as it takes for him to steal as much as he wants from your sell. Be smart, and do your selloff properly. Don't do it when you have a 10seconds delay.
Recruit PMs:
Unless deliberately aimed at LoP, or a subchain, with the intention to weaken our chain, recruit PMs are no ground for approval. We would like to discourage you from sabbing for them personally aswel. Part of being a good commander is creating a relation of trust and loyalty with your officers, which stops them getting recruited away. Sabbing for recruit PMs, is admitting, that you have failed as a commander, and taking that out on someone else. If your officers are loyal, have them simply reply recruit PMs with positive propaganda about LoP.
Provocative behavior and Flaming:
This is still no ground for approval. The BF mod has the choice to drop handling the request, and ask the guy who's been flaming to go search for another BF mod to handle the request for him. In case the guy fails at finding one and sorting it out, he'll be approved within 24hours.
Sabotage:
These cases will be looked upon individually as there are too many reasons why one could sab you.
[Try not to panic when you get sabbed, and investigate with calm head]
Chain Sabotaged:
In case you're being chain sabotaged, we'll take the proper action depending on the reason of which you're being chain sabotaged. In any case, we'll attempt to put the actions on you on hold. These cases will be looked upon individually as well as they can often lead to complicated situations.
Rogues:
If the offender has only spy, and has sabbed 2 or more LoP, in all probability he is a rogue. It means direct approval for sab, mass and turnfarming. Though informing him should be mandatory.
P.S. [IMPORTANT] : If your alliance has a stricter policy than this, we might very strictly apply THAT (plus extra?) on you. Game is supposed to be fun, if you make too many rules, we will just do the same for you.
Aim of the policy :
- Our main aim, has always been to promote good spirit of the game and make it fair for everyone.
- If we manage a successful age with this policy, we can make a very good impression KoC wise and if it causes others to make their policies more lenient, it will work towards good game spirit.
- We should show people that we are above such nonsense rules.
- Training our members to be more diplomatic, and building a healthy and mature gaming community.
